Louisiana’s largest Cinco de Mayo Festival presented by Avión and Modelo Especial returns to Fat City on Friday, May 5 with two stages of live entertainment featuring headliners Mannie Fresh, Partners ‘N Crime, and Honey Island Swamp Band. Cinco de Mayo Fest (www.cincodemayofest.com) is now a non-profit event benefiting Ecco NOLA (www.ecconola.org), a Louisiana 501c-3 dedicated to helping Hispanic high school students achieve their greatest potential by providing mentorship and scholarships to attend top colleges across the nation.
The one-day only festival takes place at Fat City Park, produced by Yeah You Right Events, and featuring live lucha libre, the city’s biggest taco eating contest, food trucks, and a Premium Avión VIP Experience with unlimited tacos and food from Los Jefes Grill, bottle service, and additional entertainment.
“Cinco de Mayo Fest has grown exponentially over the years, but I’ve always wanted to give back to the community that made me what I am today,” said Los Jefes owner Oscar Chimal. “I am excited about the opportunity to work with Ecco and support local high school students.”
Cinco de Mayo Fest ticketing options include $25 General Admission, $75 VIP, and $550 for Table Service and 6 Admission tickets. Discounted early bird tickets are now available through Eventbrite or visit our website at www.cincodemayofest.com for more information.
Our goal is to raise over $25,000 for Ecco NOLA in 2023 so they can continue to do the important work they do in our community.
